Subject: CAP 5.0 and MAC LAP Questions

We are in the process of setting up a Macintosh network and have
a couple of questions:

  1.  Is is possible to run CAP 5.0 on an HP-UX host with
      MAC II workstations which have ethernet cards?  We
      do not have a Kinetics Fastpath unit of any type.

  2.  Does anyone have a LAP layer for the MAC which supports
      802.3 and 802.2 logical link control packet headers?
      Will this LAP run on a Kinetics ethernet card?
