Philip Wood) Newsgroups: comp.protocols.tcp-ip Subject: MILNET, EGP, ROUTING, PSN 7.0, RFNM BLOCKAGE Message-ID: <8812212231.AA04908@sneezy.lanl.gov> Date: 21 Dec 88 22:31:45 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 15 How about the following: 1. EGP is now sending datagrams greater than 2048. I know, I've received them. 2. In order for this to happen, 5 or so fragments are generated "back to back shall we say", assuming 512 byte fragments. 3. We are now exercising a bug in new PSN software which cannot handle soom magic number of back to back packets on a particular channel? Resulting in a channel that is RFNM blocked, it never clears, and the host is prevented from sending on that particular channel. Phil Wood, cpw@lanl.gov
