Tony,

If you are not directly connected to the MILNET, as I believe you
are not if you are using aplcomm.jhuapl.edu (128.244.16.1), then
your connectivity problems are most probably a result of the
gateway problems described by Mike Brescia in a previous message
to the tcp-ip list.

If you are having any problems reaching a MILNET host directly
from another MILNET host, then please report the problem to the
MILNET monitoring center at 1-800-451-7413 (free call!).  They
can't fix problems they don't know about.
