A company in Waltham, MA. called Pencept makes a system for hand
print recognition(Penpad). They've been around for awhile, but are 
just starting to make a name for themselves in the digitizer market.  
In fact, in the recent issue of Byte, there was a comparison of digitizers
and the Pencept Penpad received a shining review.
