One more comment:  On my ITT XTRA running what identified itself as "ITT-DOS
2.11 version 1.00", CTTY hung the computer the instant COMMAND.COM tried to
get input.  It would output the prompt to the serial port and die, requiring
me to cycle power to recover.  This is yet another CTTY phenomenon that
doesn't fit Rick's statement that CTTY is broken the same way on all systems.
