Here's your chance to tell me what a GREAT machine the Amiga is and why I should buy an Amiga instead of an ATARI. Here's the scoop: I'm looking to invest some $$ in a home computer. My primary intended use for the thing is to be a MIDI controller (voice editing, sequencing, libriarian functions, etc). So how does the Amiga stack up against the ATARI in the MIDI world? How's the 3rd party software support? Is multi-tasking an advantage for MIDI? Also, WHICH AMIGA SHOULD I BUY????? I was down at the local Amy store and the salesman there seemed to be telling me that the 2000 was a waste of money and that I should buy a 500. Is he right?? Finally, how about prices? I can get a 500 with color monitor, mouse, etc for $975.00 locally. Is that good or should I go mail order? Thanks for any info...honest I appreciate it! Please e-mail, I don't read this newsgroup very often since I don't own an Amiga! Glen Baker glenb@hpnmdla.HP.COM
