When I do : a power-on, the system freezes in mid-execution of the startup-sequence (after : already transferred control to my hard disk). Any subsequent reboots via the : CTL-A-A keypress works just fine. My config is B2000, 3Meg, ST251-0 40 meg : drive, DOS 1.2 with ARP. : Can you pin down the point in which it hangs up a little more exactly? ie. Put echo statements into the Startup-Sequence to find out exactly where it stops. It could be a disk validation type problem, or possibly the PA having trouble locking into sync when toggled. If it were the PA, you would probably see similar things fairly often when toggling, not just during the first power up.
