I have the current release, a friendly site to connect to, a
non-Hayes-compatible modem and a non-Lattice C compiler.  Great
frustration has ensued.  One hopes that the next release would either
include a way to patch in modem command syntax without recompiling, or
else exclude a half dozen or so Lattice-isms from 'uucico.'
