Thanks for any help anyone can offer. Yes; Eric published it in one of his Ray Tracing newsletters (#3, I think). It was in a file called "secret". I have tested it, it's accurate. For details on ordering the newsletters, see Cathryn Graham's article in this month's TransAmi (or write back and I'll send it). It's well worth it to buy all four if you're a regular Sculpt-3D user. Hey, my Iris flight program already has a Klingon battle cruiser. Don't you have the latest version? Actually, my 3130 has Klingon, but my 4D's came with (apparently) an old version of 'flight' that just has the five basic planes. Here's the full list of what's available on the 3130: Cessna 150 Boeing 747 F-15 F-16 F-18 P-38 Klingon Sopwith Fokker Tri Tai Fighter Xwing X-29 Since I know SGI will give the full source to any owner just for signing a release form, it would be worth your while to ask them to give you the source for the current 3130 version (even if you have a 4-D). You could then just put those data files on the 4-D. Sounds a lot easier than building this stuff in Sculpt... But if you do build something to convert/display Sculpt data files for the Iris, I'd definitely be interested in a copy. --Ken Van Camp ARPANET: kvancamp@PICA.ARMY.MIL -or- kvancamp@ARDEC.ARPA BITNET: (use above through normal gateways, like UBVM.CC.BUFFALO.EDU) USENET: pica.army.mil!kvancamp@UUNET.UU.NET "Support your local maillist: Give to the March of Electrons"
