As the saying goes "If you have to ask ..."

No one but Commodore knows what a 3000 might look like and they are not
talking. No Article that purports to portray such a beast is anything more
than the wet dream of the author. Being pure fantasy in nature they are
easy to come up with, you know 4K x 4K x 24 bits graphics, half a gig of
user ram, 600 Meg removable, R/W optical drives with 2 mS access times,
68040 processor running at 50Mhz, with slots for another 7 processors 
giving you a 180Mips, 3.5MWhetstones, 1M Dhrystones performance. All for
under $1,000 and compatible with AmigaDos 1.1 of course ...
