Snyder II) Organization: RPI Public Access Workstation Lab - Troy, NY Lines: 28 I have a 1.3 ROM for the 2000/500 computer, and am interfacing it to my Amiga 1000, now through the expansion bus. 1. What would be a good chip to piggy back on so that I can move my board inside? I need only the major address and data lines, plus the clock. I have considered the 68000, but thought thatanother chip might be better. 2. How can I change the address of the 256K kickstart ram, as my ROM will need to go into it's address space, and I want to use the ram. 3. The ROM is add the same as the Kick RAM isn't it? All of my sources suggest so. 4. Has anyone out there created a ROM: by putting programs onto EPROMS to save ram? Would be interested in any such attempts. Thanks. ______________________________________________________________________ Wilson P. Snyder II snyderw@pawl.rpi.EDU 15 Davis Parkway 518-276-2764 So.
