  For those of you with non-Apple SCSI drives (I'm waiting for mine
to come from Hard Drives International, where they say it's back-ordered
and I hope they're reliable and it comes before I have to pay my
MasterCard), Open-Apple's January issue contains the changes needed in
a program they published in January 87 which enables one to do a
low level format of a SCSI drive.
  I've sent a note to Tom Weishaar asking whether I can upload
it to Apple2-L.  (There is already a low level formatting program
on GEnie, but I don't know if it's safe and reliable.)
