Today i noticed an ad for a fairly inexpensive 3.5 inch floppy drive for the //e ][+ and //c. It struck me as being kind of odd, because i was under the impression that all //c's required unidisk 3.5 f loppy drives. When i called tech support for the mail order firm, I was told that some //c's have a Universal Disk Controller. Is this true? She seemed to imply that this controller was present in //c's prior to the //c+. Can anyone confirm this? If so, is there any kind of upgrade policy related to it? thanks -paul nakada __ | Paul Nakada '89 #8-) | North House | nakada@husc4.HARVARD.EDU Harvard College | seismo>!harvard!husc4!nakada.UUCP Cambridge, MA 02138 | rutgers/ nakada@husc4.BITNET 617/498-6255 || 6264 | __|
