Prosel is a program selector/disk utilities package available only from Glen himself for $40. It runs under Prodos 8, although Prosel-16 (which runs under prodos 16) is due out in February (if you have a GS). Prosel16 will be $60 ($20 if you already bought Prosel. I have no connection with Glen other than as a satisfied user, but I honestly think every Apple owner with a hard disk should have Prosel. (Sorry I don't have Glen Bredon's address with me, but it was posted recently and I'm sure someone here has it...) RE: File Finder While I am not aware of a NDA file finder, Prosel has a program to find files, and Davex (a shareware command processor from Dave Lyons) has file finding commands. (Davex is $25).
