I am pretty sure it's MFM because it was in an IBM hard drive and it also seemed to have a similar ribbon cable pattern as the Seagate ST-225. What I need to know is what kind of drive is the Miniscribe IV model 4020 and how can I replace the Xebec drive in my Sider in it. If they are both MFM drives I think this is possible, however, they have different ribbon cable connections. If it isn't possible to stick the Miniscribe into the Sider (which is a Sider 10 megabyte) then is there any other way I can use it on an Apple? Thanks in advance, Dan Marks spark@pro-newfrontiers
