I seem to have been overly critical, and wish to issue the following retraction: ForthMacs DOES work with no problems. The problem I encountered was with the Ram disk software I was using, NOT ForthMacs. I was contacted by Mitch Bradley (the author of ForthMacs) within 12 hours of posting. He gave me a patch to "fix" ForthMacs to work with my ramdisk sw. Please note that I had not paid any registration fees, so I certainly was not entitled to any support from Mitch. I subsequently tried a different ramdisk, and ForthMacs ran without difficulty. I highly recommend the system, and will be sending Mitch my registration fee post-haste. ...and so Forth, Bob Currier |============================================================================| | La prima parola della guerra e pronunciata | | dal cannone ma l'ultima e sempre detta dal pane. | | | | Robert D.
