I was originally misinformed regarding the operation of the bus mouse. It does not use a COM port. My problem was resolved by switching the interrupt on the interface card. from Jim Wright: %>From the manual, there appears to be no support for com3 or com4. %On a *bus* mouse, you can set the interrupt for 2, 3, 4 or 5. %Com1 uses 4. Com2 uses 3. Thus, use 2 on an XT or 5 on an AT. Once again I see that the network is a wonderful resource. Especially when your friends have lost the documentation :). =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- " Bruce Cohen | UUCP: ..ucbvax!ucsfcgl!bic " Computer Graphics Lab | ARPA: bic@cgl.ucsf.edu " S-926 | BITNET: bic@ucsfcgl " University of California | VOICE: (415) 476-8291 " San Francisco, CA 94143-0446 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
