They are used to transport graphics from and to programs like Page Maker and ScanWare (Logitech) I would like to take a stab at a simple OCR program but my scanner utilities write to either TIFF, Microsoft Paint or PCX (Logitech's Paint programs I guess) format. And I can't seem to figure out the format of any of these files on a bit image level.. Please send mail to me as I don't read this group often..
