Subject: fast 68000 on a slow bus

Hi.  Maybe someone out there can help.
I'm trying to attach a 16 Mhz 68000 to a bus that can only
run at 8 Mhz.
I have tried gating the AS, UDS, LDS to the old 8 Mhz clock but the
processor still halts.
Any idea on how I can sync things so ram and peripherls that run at
8 Mhz now will still see 8 Mhz signals  ( or whats the easiest way to
add wait states to a 68000)
