Naturally, I can no longer find the reference. Has anybody out there seen such a beast? I'm aware of the Grappler, which includes a serial-to-parallel converter; I'm more interested in a solution that would bypass the Mac's serial port entirely and provide a direct parallel path into a printer that supports the Centronics standard interface. Ideally, the interface card would come with a modified serial-port driver for the Mac, which would "spoof" programs that opened the printer port and would redirect output to the parallel port. Any hints? Company names? "See booth XXX at MacWorld"? advTHANKSance... -- Dave Platt FIDONET: Dave Platt on 1:204/444 VOICE: (415) 493-8805 UUCP: ...!{ames,sun,uunet}!coherent!dplatt DOMAIN: dplatt@coherent.com INTERNET: coherent!dplatt@ames.arpa, ...@sun.com, ...@uunet.uu.net USNAIL: Coherent Thought Inc. 3350 West Bayshore #205 Palo Alto CA 94303
