I just read in the December 13, 1988 issue of MacWeek that there is a company
that has created a program called "Virex" that detects and eradicates the nVIR
virus.  The current version is 1.1, recently released to counter the new nVIR
strain of virus.  It is $99.95 and can be purchased from:

I don't know how good or effective Virex is, but for those of you in need of
such a program, I hope it may prove useful.
