Canada Lines: 25 [Reposting due to an error - hope I cancelled first version in time!] I am looking for a way to do mail merge using data stored in several fields in a Hypercard stack. To make things clearer, what I want to do is take ASCII text from Hypercard fields on a series of cards and paste them into a template word processing document, thus producing form letters. Has anyone out in netland done this? Right now, we are thinking of getting a Hypercard script to write an ASCII data file in the format required by the data portion of mail merges in a word processor (like WriteNow 2.0 [once we get it, nudge nudge, wink wink]). Then one would have to run WriteNow to get the result. This doesn't sound too hard, but we are wondering if someone has a better idea. Will summarize and post if response warrants. Thanks! -- Mark J.
