Keywords: MacWrite,TechNotes,Help Message-ID: <749@ditsyda.oz> Date: 5 Jan 89 06:47:05 GMT Organization: CSIRO DIT Sydney, Australia Lines: 24 Help! Where can I get information on the disk format MacWrite uses? I think it is in TechNote #12; how can I get this without waiting months for the Apple beaurocracy to ponder my request? Are TechNotes archived 'somewhere', or do any of you have this helpful information? A previous poster asked for quickdraw internal formats - these are given in TechNote #21 (I have the index, but not the interesting documents themselves!) It would seem to be useful for netters to know how to get documentation. Please email to me at muller@ditsyda.oz and I will summarise to the net. (Apple says it distributes to bulletin boards etc. without copyright restrictions). I am trying to write a bibliography system in HyperCard for the mac+ with external functions in MPW C, and I need to be able to output text in bold, italic etc. for citations. TEXT files do not have this capability and MS Word format made me go weak at the knees, so I am hoping there is some simple format (perhaps MacWrite) which will let me output files with special styles. Thanks in advance for any help. Carl Muller, CSIRO Department of Information Technology, Sydney. D
