However, on three different sun4's here (that have HiRes monitors) the screen height is really only about 1277 pixels. Try bringing up a window that starts at y=1264 and has a height of 16 with the text "yyggjj" in it. You'll notice that the descenders get chopped off. Interestingly, this problem doesn't seem to occur on our single sun3/260 HiRes. Can someone at Sun shed some light on this? I don't think it's a case of the monitors being adjusted incorrectly since they are of differing ages. -- John
