Symptoms: 
    
     Programs compiled under g++ 1.31 not behaving the same as they did
     when compiled under g++ 1.25.1. 

I don't have the debugger built yet, so I thought I would verify
whether I was picking up g++ pieces from the correct places, using -v.
I noticed that the link phase is picking /lib/Mcrt1.0. Shouldn't it be
picking up crt1+.o?  Here is a snap of the link:
