My drives are blowing away physical descriptor tables,
and I have no recourse but to low level format.. With 
the need to make what backups I can,and reload 600 meg
of disk, from slow cartridge tape, I am taking the machine 
offline. 

As usual,no mail or news will be lost.. Just slightly delayed.
