I am trying to run bnews 2.11 on a UNIX-PC with V3.51 of System V.
The problem is that each time an article is processed by uuxqt, a
mail message is generated to send back to my news feed's uucp.
Not only is this a terrible bother, it clogs the spool directory
like you would not believe!

I have changed the DFTXMIT and UUXFLAGS to use the -n flag since
my uux does not support the -z flag.  This did not affect things
at all.  If anyone has been successful in fixing this problem,
I would appreciate your knowledge.

I am NOT running the Honey-Danber version of uucp/etc.

Please respond by mail since news is a bit of a problem.
