It was to be a wafer-scale RAM device, with serial communications paths between blocks of RAM. You'd map out the bad parts and store the results in an EPROM, which could support several wafers. There was an article in BYTE about it a couple of years ago. I thought it would be great for virtual memory. Anyone know if he's still working on it?
