The twenty-plus responses I've seen discuss this as though it were a
typical RAMdisk.  It seems to me that they all miss the point, which is
that the proposed device would cost about the same (per byte) as a
disk.  If this puppy were realized, we'd buy them by the thousands,
hook up battery backup, and use them as workstation main storage in
place of our conventional disks.
