Co., Inc., Everett, WA Lines: 22 We are in the process of configuring a system for a new application which causes to be interested in Ethernet terminal servers. Would any of you care to suggest your favorite terminal servers? Do any of them directly support RS-422, or are they all still RS-232 or 423? What is their model of the world? Do they only support terminal initiated (terminal to host) connections, or do they allow host initiated (Ethernet) connection to terminal? How are they with modem control? Can they do a reasonable job of supporting dialup modems? Do any of them support enough modem control flexibility to utilize hardware flow control with a Telebit TB+? What kind of reliability have you experienced? What service options were available to you if repair was ever needed? Thanks for the help. I'll post a summary of the responses.
