Keywords: editor, novice, non-curses Message-ID: <175@zorin.UUCP> Date: 16 Jan 89 06:29:00 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Zorin Data Systems, Inc., Santa Monica, CA Lines: 26 I'm looking for the PD source for a simple BBS type line editor, for use with System V Unix. Something like I've seen on BBS's, where input is line numbered, and editing is accomplished by selecting a line to change, and retyping that line, if necessary. (Not many features, but easy to use). Also preffered, is not having to deal with terminal emulations, etc (straight ascii). The important thing for me, is that it be easy to use, for someone totally unfamiliar with it. I know this sort of thing is nearly trivial to write, but perhaps someone out there has something even better suited to the task, and better developed. Thank you for your support. Christopher A.
