I use csh as my ESHELL, but sometimes I have to go into subshells, and
ESHELL does not redefine SHELL environment variable, so I end up in tcsh
again. 

There IS a way to do the stty things that tcsh ignores from within tcsh,
though: 

	sh -c 'stty -echo nl'
