Yes, this is the "SuperOptimiser."  I believe the author had gotten to work
on 8086's and 6800's (not 68000's, but 00's).

We used to have the paper written on it, but it seems to have disappeared
from the office.

BTW, the code it generated assumed you didn't care about which registers you
trashed.
