Bill, I too have been trying to get Digitalk Smalltalk V/286 to run on my AT&T PC 6300 Plus. I recently learned that AT&T has a new NETBIOS chip (Version 3.0) which is supposed to support "protected mode" operation. The chip costs $75, but my purchase order has not yet been processed, so I cannot report whether it solves the problem. If it works, I will post an advisory to that effect. --Barry Kort
