This may be in the category of rediscovering fire, but:

1. I recently rebuilt my kernel  and rs232 suddenly got flakey.
2. Then last night after adding a small amount to bmsclock to read
	from Supra, I got a message from build that the kernel was too big.

Turns out that nasty message comes from sttools/build due to malloc failing,
due the a bigger chmem being needed.  I hope my rs232 problems go away
after making build bigger.

Anyway, look out for build if you start adding drivers.
