Preferrably, this hardware should serve a few terminals; but even one terminal support will help me a lot. Such a box can be self-contained, or a card for a PC, or whatever. The idea is to have some terminals attached to a "bare" machine, for the minimum that's required - namely, a console. If you have some rough price quotations - this will help a lot too. (The reason for all this - I want to partition a 3090 into LPARs, and run a test opsys on one of the partitions; however, I'll need some CU to serve the MVS console there, since PR/SM partitions contain whole CHPIDs - I can't dedicate one or two consoles to a certain partition).
