There are two machine families which do have a single (huge) address
space which includes everything (programs, data, files etc.).
One is IBM System/38 the other is the newer AS/400 from the same
organization. I cant give you here more info about them since it might look
like advertizing (which it is not!) since I am with the big-blue but
information is readily available from the source.
