This is quoted from their latest OXXI Update newsletter: "A-Talk III Updates Those who have release 1.0, or 1.0c of A-Talk III can obtain the latest disk by sending in their original disk to be copied for a $5 charge. If they choose not to send in the disk, the charge for the latest disk is $8. This is to cover the cost of duplication of the disk, handling and shipping." OXXI was indeed sending out updates for free. Unfortunately I updated the software 4 times in 3 months, and they just can't afford the extra expense.
