Er, sorry. I posted a little while back about a suffering power supply in my 1000, and was helpfully guided in diagnosing the problem by an unnamed few whom I will eternally venerate. So great, now I'm CERTAIN my power supply is a statistic, nothing showing up on the ol' multimeter from any of 7 pins going to the system board. I can't think of any components to check (besides the fuse which is ok--the fan is running, just zip to the motherboard) so unless any Amiga deity can point me in the right direction (the call goes out for SCHWABMAN and the amazing CATS Crusaders!!!) I guess I gotta get a new supply. Which is my other problem. The only Amiga shop of any notoriety wants $160 for the supply alone, $200 for it installed, and unless they put it in, there's no guarantee (of course). Is this price deserving of hysterical laughter, or must I endure the nose tweaks of outrageous supply & demand? Um, HEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeee........
