Bret Young) Distribution: na Organization: Purdue University Engineering Computer Network Lines: 23 I bought a RAM-BOard expansion RAM box with 2meg from TecniSoft. That company went under and as far as I know so did the company that bought them up. I am thinking of adding another 2meg to the board (it is expandable to 8meg). Someone asked about this on the net a little while back and never heard if they found out where they could get the parts/boards to do this. If anyone knows, I would sure like to hear from them. Oh, this for an A1000. Assuming I can't expand my RAM-BOard, can I just add, say, a Microbotics 2meg RAM expansion and be ok (i.e. NO CONFLICTS with the RAM-BOard)? I'm not too keen on how this auto-config stuff works. The RAM-BOard does auto-config. Thanks, Bret P.S. Kinda off the subject but I was thinking of buying a Seagate ST-277N and a C'Ltd SCSI controller but I am reading alot of bad news here on the net about Seagate drives. What's the deal, I always thought they were top quality? ARPA: youngb@eg.ecn.purdue.edu UUCP: youngb@pur-ee.uucp
