Replacing the power supply is VERY simple (at least as far as I know). Take off the 1000 top, remove the RF shield (this is time consuming), disconnect the poweer supply cables from the motherboard, take out screws holding power spuuly and motherboard to chassis, slide power supply out. About a 10 min operation once you get the RF shield off. Putting the new one in is a reversal of the above process. I will look for the name of the company and post it if I find it.
