I recall noticing that one of the surplus supply places that
advertises in the back of "Byte" magazine has surplus Amiga 1000
power packs (the ad noted that was what they were) for something
like $29.95.  I don't remember which of the advertisers it was.
Check out a Byte from around June or July of 1988 and thumb through
the back.  I don't recall having seen the ad in the latest issue.

The power supplies were apparently extras that were left over after
the production of the 1000 ended.
