What DO you'all do about it [I've been real spoiled and always had an operations staff "somewhere else" who worry about that kind of thing]. I notice that there are two backup's that have been posted fairly recently (MRBackup and Matt's "backup"), a friend with normally impeccable taste swears by a program called "quarterback", someone else (yesterday was it?) asked about a streaming tape drive. For my part, I can neither afford another I/O device nor to leave 1/2->1/3 of my disk empty (to do a partition->partition backup), so it looks like backing the thing up direct to floppies is about the only overall plan that'll work. Anybody have advice on what works and what doesn't? Thanks __ / ) Bernie Cosell /--< _ __ __ o _ BBN Sys & Tech, Cambridge, MA 02238 /___/_(<_/ (_/) )_(_(<_ cosell@bbn.com
