Message-ID: <2042@scolex> Date: 9 Jan 89 21:33:53 GMT Organization: The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc. Lines: 23 I was thinking about this, and given the opportunity to get a completely new OS which took care of the Amiga-DOS faults and included things like Task protection, etc..., I would be willing to take all the code that I have and re-write it. This amount of work is worth the advantages on the new OS. However, I do not have lots of programs that I purchased for the amiga. I only purchased the Lattice Compiler. Everything else is hand-written or ShareWare/Public Domain. The machine is the same, and with the hardware still in place, I would imagine that I would be able to still use all of its wonderful abilities. Just think it would be like a new machine for me to play with that did at least what my old one did! I think I could accept that. brian moffet -- Brian Moffet {uunet, decvax!microsoft, ucscc}!sco!brianm -or- ...sco!alar!brian "I was everything you wanted me to be. You were afraid, I was frightening."
