It works fine with one exception. According to the manual, when the video source is removed, it's supposed to revert to normal operation, ie it generates its own vert/horiz sync signals. Mine doesn't. When I turn off the VCR or remove the video IN cable, the picture vanishes. The clock (28 mhz) is still there, because the computer keeps working. There's just no picture. Am I interpreting the instructions correctly? Should I get a display under the above circumstances ? If so, does anyone know the name of an authorized commodore repair place (or suggest what the problem might be so I can fix it) near Pasadena ?
