I like it well enough, EXCEPT, neither vd0: or RAD: will survive a warm reboot via C-A-A. It will survive a warm reboot caused by a GURU. I called Expansion Tech about this, and their response was that it just depends on the particular A1000 it is hooked upto. On some machines, a C-A-A will work and on some it won't. They said that also, some times doing a C-A-A real quickly will work on those machines that normally C-A-A won't work on. The real quick method has only worked once. This A1000 has worked properly in these respects with an ASDG Mini-Rack. This leads me to believe that the Escort hardware design is not upto snuff. Can anyone shed some light on this? Since it RAD:/vd0: will survive a GURU reboot, I'm hopeful that someone on the net can lead me to a minor hardware hack, or even more hopefully a software fix. Any ideas?? Thanx for your time! - MJB -
