I put the Zip Chip back in my //c and it has been working well, too. The reason I jumped to the conclusion that the Zip Chip doesn't work in the II+ is that my friend had previously asked his local Apple dealer about the Zip Chip, and the dealer told him that the Zip Chip doesn't work with the II+. MORAL: Either the Zip Chip doesn't work well with the II+, or it does work with the II+ but you have to be REAL sure that it is connected properly.
