Anyone know if there will ever be a version of PC Ditto that emulates expanded memory? It seems kind of silly to run a DOS emulation, using 703K, in a 4 meg machine... On a somewhat similar topic, has anyone heard anything new about XDOS? I've seen one article about it, mentioning thus&such companies will be licensed to use it, etc. Nothing else in a long long while. (XDOS, for those who haven't seen, is a system that "compiles" 8086 object code into 680x0 object code. The result is the ability to run "DOS" applications with very high efficiency on 680x0 based systems. I don't know what is covered in the translation process, whether an XDOS system can use DOS formatted disks, etc...) -- / /_ , ,_.
