Both of these programs appear to be limited to displaying 16 colors. While I realize this is the limit for the ST in low-res mode, with programs like Spectrum 512 and Quantum Paintbos around, one has to wonder why there are no GIF programs available to view all the 256-color GIFs floating around. Failing a viewer, does anyone know of a program which will convert GIFs to Spectrum, or for that matter, any other format which supports more than 16 colors? I have heard that DigiSpec will do this, but I do not have a digitizer, and it seems rather a waste to spend money on a program which makes use of hardware I do not own. Any information along these lines will be appreciated. Thanks, Arnie Elkins Allanon@cup.portal.com or sun!cup.portal.com!allanon
