Do you know what percentage of ST owners want to upgrade their memory without buying a new machine? I'd suspect that Atari thinks that it's close to 0%, so it's worth the small amount of manufacturing cost it saves them. Personally, I'd guess that a lot of Mega2 owners are going to eventually want to upgrade. But I'm tired of reading about it on this group already.
